Sisters in Spirit - Mähsį cho

October 4th is recognized as Sisters in Spirit to remember missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, and Two Spirit folks while also fighting to end colonialist violence.

Monday night, we gathered at Dänojà Zho, walked along the Yukon River, stood around the fire pit on Front Street and listened to speakers, and also enjoyed some chili together. We want to remember women, girls, and Two Spirit folks lost to violence and commit to creating a world where no more aunties, cousins, sisters, and friends are taken from this land.
